We are seeking patients for an ongoing, phase 3, bacterial conjunctivitis (also known as “pink-eye”) study. Pink-eye is a common eye infection for all ages. Pink-eye can be due to a variety of causes; only some are due to bacteria.
This study medication is vancomycin, in an eye ointment form. Vancomycin is a well-known antibiotic but it is most frequently given by different methods than eye ointment.
We are searching for patients, ages 1 year old and older that think they have pink eye and it has started within the last 4 days. This study has 3 visits over 8 days. Patients who qualify will receive free study medication and all study related cares, as will be paid for each completed visit.
